Singapore Food Republic by Nasi Lemak

My friends and I decided to eat out again (well… we just wanted to give ourselves a simple reward for a tiring week). This time we dined at SINGAPORE FOOD REPUBLIC by Nasi Lemak in BGC.

It was my first time to dine here and unfortunately I don’t have Steve (my cam) with me. But that didn’t stop me from taking moments of my dining experience here. ^^

I find the place so cool and the place looks great. I also love some pieces inside the restaurant. It's a good place to chill in the afternoon and just have a round or two of Dimsum break.

They have a promo of their Dimsum for Php55 from 3PM-5PM. Most of us ordered Spare Ribs, Hakao and Sea Food Wrap.

I really enjoyed my food (actually, I just finished everything in 5 minutes ^^). What I also love in this restaurant is the idea of meeting the owner. He checked and visited each table and asks if we enjoyed our food. He also joined in our group pic.

Earth Run 2012

Yehey! My 3^rd running event for this year…

A month ago, I happened to see a post in FB from a friend regarding Earth Run 2012. I immediately informed my friends about it and we signed up for the early bird price. Yahoo!

Early Bird: (March 9 – April 1)

3K/5K/10K – PHP 250

16K/21K – PHP 350

I was the one who processed the registration for our group. I decided to join the 10K run (ang kapal ko lang. hahaha…My first 10K attempt) and the rest joined the 5K. I was a bit disappointed when I claimed our singlets in Chris Sports Glorietta. I just felt that they weren’t ready for the release of singlets and it took them a lot of time look for the claims. Maybe they just need to be more organized next time.

Well I enjoyed my first 10K attempt. There was enough hydration during the race plus the free showers. Hehehe… (ang sarap atang tumakbo habang umuulan) Marshals were everywhere that time and that made me feel that we were secured. The loot bag given after the race consists of 1 banana, Nizoral Cream, Close Up toothpaste, Papaya Soap. I also got a certificate though I need to put my name on it (ako na lang daw ang magsulat)

Johnny Rockets

Mahirap kaming napapagod sa trabaho kasi KUMAKAIN kami. LOL... Araw ng deadline namin noon at para makatapos, nagset ako ng alarm clock para sa aming lahat. We promised ourselves that right after we finish our deliverables, we will TREAT ourselves and EAT. Natapos kami sa lahat ng gagawin namin around 5:30PM.

Di kami makapag-decide kung saan kami kakain pero pare-pareho kaming dinala ng mga paa namin sa Burgos Circle sa BGC. All of us agreed to dine in JOHNNY ROCKETS. It was my first time kaya excited akong kumain that time (though I was on a diet)

Since biglaan lang ang lakad na ito, wala kaming matinong camera kaya phone ko na lang ang pinagtyagaan namin.

They are also offering free fries or onion rings. We chose to have a plate of french fries. Ang cute ng presentation ng mga catsup namin.

The place is also known for their dancing crews. Naisip ko nga pag mag-iba ako ng profession dito ako magta-trabaho. ALIW ako habang nanonood. Di ko ramdam na naghihintay ako ng order ko.

We ordered 4 pcs. of The Original and a plate of American Spaghetti. The Spaghetti goes with a plate of sliced breads too.

Bago kumain nagawa pa naming maglaro... para lang kaming mga bata. See our artworks. ^^

Walang pagsidlan ang sobra naming kabusugan. Pakiramdam ko noon lang ulet ako nakakain sa buong buhay ko. Kahit naman diet ako ngayon, okay lang din yung paminsan-minsang kumain (ng BONGGA!) at makakwentuhan ang mga taong malalapit sa puso mo.

So where is our next stop? ^^ Mangan ta na!

My Day!

January 27 – yan ang araw ng kapanganakan ko. ^^

 

January 27, 2012 – Di ko alam kung magiging masaya ako sa araw na ito. Mixed emotions ang araw na yan. I was not even planning to celebrate it. Pakiramdam ko kasi that time naubos ako… nawalan ng dahilan para maging masaya pa. Iniisip ko nga nabagsakan ako ng langit at lupa.

God is really good to me. That ordinary day turned out to be so special. I realized, I still have my FAMILY. 

I realized that l still have them. Meron mang taong nawala, nariyan pa rin yung pamilya ko at handang sumuporta. They are my pillar of strength. 

Besides, ang daming taong nakaalala nung araw na yun. Ang sarap lang sa pakiramdam… I was in pain for several days but the people around me made me feel that I’m blessed with so many things.

After a couple of days… nagkaroon pa ako ng birthday surprise… 

Thanks to my beloved friends... isa sila sa mga taong kinukunan ko ng lakas.... They saw me at worst and at my best and still they love me. Andyan lang sila at handang umalalay...

Buti pa nga sila nabibigyan ako ng bouquet of flowers. Ang mga lalaking dumaan sa buhay ko wala... hahaha...

Despite of what I’ve been through, I still have all the reason to smile… to live… I still have the support and love of the people who’s always been there for me. Marami man akong sakit na mapagdaanan, I know I’ll survive because of them….
